Founded in 1998 in Padua, by Maurizio and Raffaele Tiarca, Eurotec WTT offers integrated water, wastewater treatments and waste-to-energy solutions enabling its industrial and municipal clients to reduce capital and energy costs and to achieve economical sustainability. The Company has built over 200 plants, with approximately 90 different domestic and international customers, with very high fidelity rate. A dedicated team of water treatment consultants provides a complete service from the technical feasibility study, to the design, the start up, and after the installation through service and support granted by the sophisticated remote monitoring control and programmed visits.
Eurotec WTT solves all water-related problems using advanced and original technologies. Eurotec WTT provides a complete range of solutions in the treatment of primary water and wastewater from different sources.
Eurotec’s treatment types include: anaerobic pre-treatment by EFC granular sludge anaerobic digesters, aerobic biological plants; nitrification and denitrification; antibulking technologies; and chemical-physical treatments.
Through anaerobic digestion, Eurotec can recover the energy content of process wastes (biogas) and simultaneously reduce the costs for their disposal. Because every kind of waste is different and consequently affects the anaerobic process, the Company tests the productivity of a plant before its construction, in order to optimize the solution according to the clients’ needs. All types of biomasses – from livestock manure, vegetable silage, slaughterhouse wastes, spent grains and other wastes from beer, whey and dairy wastes — are treated through anaerobic digestion plants, transforming the wastes into biogas and then into electricity and thermal energy.
But Eurotec WTT is not just a water treatment company. The company’s experience with resins that led to a partnership with Mitsubishi and to the development of a range of processes with chromatographic and adsorption resins, which can be used in the separation and purification of various liquids such as juices, grapes must, whey and lactose. The Company has also specialized in anaerobic treatment of high soluble COD waters and consequently it can also offer anaerobic treatment that transforms the purifying costs into an income.
