RWL Water Italia to Inaugurate First Complete Industrial Anaerobic and Aerobic Wastewater Treatment Plant in Ecuador on November 10th
Together with EUROFISH, RWL Water Italia is pleased to announce the inauguration of the first complete industrial anaerobic and aerobic wastewater treatment plant in Ecuador on November 10th at 5PM in Manta, Ecuador.
RWL Water Italia has recently designed and installed a new water demineralization plant by brackish wells to reduce the water intake of the factory and a new wastewater treatment plant for EUROFISH, a leading company in the tuna industry.
The project is part of the EUROFISH strategy of sustainable development involving compliance with legal regulations, reinforcing water supply and minimizing the impact of operations to reduce their ecological footprint.
RWL Water Italia, which has been providing leading edge sustainable water, wastewater and reuse solutions for more than 20 years, designed this new wastewater treatment system to improve the quality of treated wastewater, reduce EUROFISH’s sludge waste volume, and produce biogas used on site for plant needs.

August 26, 2015 — New York, NY, Gildan Activewear Inc. is a world-leading manufacturer and marketer of apparel, including blank active wear such as t-shirts, sport shirts and fleeces, which are typically decorated by screen-printing companies with designs and logos. Gildan’s facility in San Pedro de Sula, Honduras requires a complete solution for their wastewater, including reuse and brine softening. Their goal is to treat and reuse industrial effluents from their manufacturing process in order to reduce the plant’s water footprint and protect the environment.
RWL Water’s solution was selected to treat wastewater using MBR and RO technologies. The permeate and the brine will be available for reuse in the manufacturing process, replacing incoming water supply and the need for more expensive, alternative salt.
